therapy:<\/b><br \/><\/u><\/p><ul><li><b>&#8220;What is the late fee\/ tardiness policy?&#8221;<\/b><br \/><p data-pm-slice=\"1 1 []\">Client will be responsible for the ENTIRE UNINSURED\/REGULAR RATE if cancellation is less than 24 hours for both insurance and Out-of-Pocket clients. Sessions are considered MISSED\/No Show if client is more than 15 min late.<\/p><\/li><li><span style=\"font-size: 14px;\"><b>&#8220;How often should I come for therapy?&#8221;<\/b><\/span><br \/><span style=\"font-size: 14px;\"><span style=\"font-size: 14px;\"><span style=\"font-size: 14px;\"><span style=\"font-size: 14px;\"><span style=\"font-size: 14px;\"><span style=\"font-size: 14px;\"><span style=\"font-size: 14px;\">In general, people typically do therapy once a week until they naturally feel like they are doing better and move it out to two times a month. Some like to do a monthly check in. It&#8217;s really up to you how often you want to do therapy, but I&#8217;d say once a week is a good place to start.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li><li>&#8220;<b>Why do I need a credit card to reserve my appointment?&#8221;<\/b><br \/>Clients are required to use a credit card to reserve their slot that they have picked on the schedule. If the credit card is not input, the client will lose their slot. Not giving a 24 hour notice of missing an appointment will result in the full charge of the session. Please reference the cancellation policy below.<\/li><li><strong>&#8220;Why am I being charged 24 hours before the session?&#8221;<br \/><\/strong>For clients paying out of pocket, their method of payment will be charged 24 hours and 1 minute <i>BEFORE<\/i> the session start time. If the payment does not go through, the session will be considered missed and it will be cancelled\/rescheduled. It is the clients&#8217; responsibility that the method of payment is up-to-date.<\/li><li><b>&#8220;Do I need to do anything before my appointment?&#8221;<br \/><\/b>Once the appointment request has been accepted, the therapist will send the client their paperwork that needs to be completed <i>before<\/i> making an appointment. This paperwork are consent forms and practice policies required before the session. Appointment is not reserved until paperwork, including credit card, is completed. Client will be rescheduled if any paperwork is not completed.<\/li><\/ul><ul><li><b>&#8220;How do I use my insurance?&#8221;<\/b><br \/>Upon receiving an appointment request or a consultation, the therapist will reach out to client about the kind of insurance they want to use and send out an intake form from ALMA, their insurance portal, to be filled out prior to the appointment being accepted. There will be an Autopay email as well where the client will input their credit card information so that their insurance can collect their copay. That copay goes to the insurance company and <em>not<\/em> the therapist. Should the autopay collection fail after a session, the therapist cannot continue to see client until the method of payment is up-to-date and the invoice is paid.
